Great News... New Davie Golf and Country Club Now Open!
(Golf reservations available for play up to 7-days in advance)
The Town of Davie and Greenway Golf are excited to announce the soft opening of the new Davie Golf & Country Club (formerly Arrowhead GC).
The course is open with an interim clubhouse facility while plans are finalized for the building of a new clubhouse. The objective is to utilize the month of November as a soft preview opening with special rates to allow players to get a sneak peak at the course why the final touches are completed around the Club.
Player Course Reviews - The course has received very favorable feedback since opening on November 5th. Here is a sampling of the comments...

- The Town of Davie and Greenway really appreciate your support and feedback. It has been suggested the Club add additional yardage markers, the course layout on scorecard, and update the course info with Skycaddie and Golf Logix GPS companies. All great comments and currently in the works to be done. Of course there are some players that feel the Club should offer even lower rates or have GPS on carts. Although we can't be everything to everyone, we appreciate the feedback. The Davie team will continue to always look for ways to improve and assist your effort to have fun.

Fun is Good... Davie G&CC First Hole In One. Congrats to Julie Dowd!
Playing December 10th, 2011 with her husband, Julie aced hole #2 with a 5 wood at 111 yards to represent the first hole in one since the re-opening of the Club. This is Julie's second hole in one in the 3 1/2 years she has been playing golf. I know I am jealous, way to go Julie. So she can relive the moment again real soon Julie's next round is on us.
Golf Rates - The golf rates have been designed to offer great value without the need for special coupons or a discount card. We value all players and believe it is best to not over inflate the golf rates in the winter just because our friends to North are in town.
Golf rates will range from $19-$39 for walking with optional cart fees at $10 person. Yes, you read correctly... walking will be allowed without a mandatory cart or special walking fee. At Greenway Golf, we believe players should have a choice and not have the golf course operator mandate a cart.
You may ask... How will allowing walking impact the course pace of play? I'm sure you have played courses where everyone was riding and the pace of play was still poor. There are many factors that influence the pace of the course and unlike other courses that start players every 7-8 minutes, at Davie G&CC we are committed to a great golf experience, which includes more generous tee time intervals and a good pace of play weather you walk or ride.
Davie Resident Rates - As the course is owned by the Town of Davie (AKA the residents of Davie), those residing in Davie as their primary place of residence or home ownership will have year round access to preferred rates of up to $10 off the regular green fees, effective December 1st.
Annual Golf Memberships - To offer the very best value for those desiring to play more frequently, annual membership plans will be available in the coming months. We are in the process of collecting feedback from you, our players, so we can best learn what you desire in an annual membership. Look for more info in the coming month.
New Yardage Markers, GPS Updates and Other Amenities - As it was the desire to open the course as quickly as possible, not all of the services are complete or at the desired Greenway standards yet. In the coming weeks additional yardage markers will be added to improve the golf experience. Additionally, we are in the process of updating the course info with Skycaddie (Golf Logix is updated).
Course layout overview to be added to the scorecards... We understand how challenging it can be playing a new course and not knowing exactly where to best play your shots. We are in the process of updating the course layout to the scorecard to better prepare you for your round.

- Twilight (currently after 2pm) $19 walking | $29 with cart
- Juniors (12 & under: Free (accompanied by paid adult)
- Jr. Scholar (13-19 of age): $10 walking | $20 w/cart if 18 older
- Twenty Something Special: $20 walking | $29 with cart
